Sometimes it’s just not worth the trouble

I’m giving up on importing the old entries back into this one.  First of all Tumblr has an api for reading and writing.  I used this to read (export) the content to XML.  However the write method isn’t as easy.  Yes, I could write something, but then getting the Disqus comments converted as well is another task.  And really I just don’t think it’s worth the effort.  I’m just going to start from scratch, or maybe I’ll manually enter some of the better entries from the past.
