I usually stay away from politics for the most part. If you take any side, you are probably siding with other liars and crooks. That’s not to say you shouldn’t have a view about political issues. I have my own beliefs but I will never “mold” them because of what some political party tells me they should be.

Sometimes it's just not worth the trouble
I’m giving up on importing the old entries back into this one. First of all Tumblr has an api for reading and writing. I used this to read (export) the content to XML. However the write method isn’t as easy. Yes, I could write something, but then getting the Disqus comments converted as well is another task. And really I just don’t think it’s worth the effort. ...
Everything is gone...
When creating my tumblr account I made the mistake of using a not so personal site as the default site and it cannot be modified. So I have fixed this, but I had to create a new blog. I backed up my tumblr content, but still have to restore it. I have the API but writing a script to do it will be annoying. I will get around to it eventually.
